What Is A Pondless Waterfall?
Great for people who don't want a pond... just a waterfall and stream.
Perfect for public settings where child safety or the liabilities of a pond may be a concern.
Virtually maintenance free!  Simply refill the reservoir every few weeks or add a water fill valve to compensate for water loss due to evaporation.
Great alternative for a front yard pond or fountain.
No ecological need to run the system continuously, you can hook it up to a timer.

What Is The Importance Of Bacteria?
Adding bacteria to a water feature is one of the most important things you can do to maintain clear, healthy water, bacteria breaksdown sludge build up, excessive waste, and will compete with algae in the pond for the excess nutrients, essentially starving off the algae.

Bacteria should be added to the pond twice a week during the cooler months and once a week throughout the summer.

String algae that grows on rocks is healthy and natural. Using bacteria will curb its growth, but periodic weeding may be necessary!

String Algae Buster should be added to the pond every couple of months or when you have a problem with string algae.

The following water treatments products are specifically designed to get your pond back on track. Determine the problem and use the solution!

Problem: String Algae
Solution: String Algae Buster and Barley Mats

Problem: Green Water
Solution: Supercharged Aquaclearer Bacteria, Bacteria, & Aquaid Flocculant

Problem: Tea Colored Water
Solution: Aquascapes activated Carbon

Do you use bottom drains?
A:
No, we don't use bottom drains. We feel that with rocks and gravel on the bottom of the pond, the bottom drains are unnecessary. The bacteria in the rocks and gravel will break down any debris that gets down to the bottom of the pond. Also, there is enough aeration coming from the Biofalls and the waterfall to aerate the entire pond.
